Disney Practice

Today was deemed "Disney Practice" by the parental units as we went to the zoo. There was much walking in 100 degree heat, although the animals were not nearly as interesting as space mountain. (Get some roller coasters, Montgomery Zoo.) Since the conditions (Hot, humid, and sunny) were similar to the expected forecast for the trip, we took the opportunity to prepare ourselves. As well as practicing our shade finding technique, the small child happiness and negotiations committee (SCHNC) was mobilized, and was successful in its efforts. It was a fun time, watching animals and riding the train, and it prepared us well for our trip. Overall, we had a good time at the zoo, even if it didn't have space mountain!

  1. It was only a two hour trek to the zoo, not sure if it will match up to the 5 days at Disney we have planned, but I'm glad the SCHNC committee was effective, wish they all were as effective at home during movie time!!!
